This team of talented theatre professionals love being a part of such a dynamic and entertaining group, and can't wait for you to see all the hard work that goes into every lighting cue, action sequence, and wacky prop (of course)! Whenever we are touring, performing, or visiting schools, one of these production team members is surely on the scene!
Tom McGee Creator and Writer
Tom is the co-creator of Shakey-Shake and Friends and Theatre Brouhaha! You can often find him writing, helping people make their scripts better, teaching people how to do well in interviews, playing volleyball, consulting on cultural projects, playing video games, or reading! Tom went to Queen's University in Kingston (which was super fun! He'd recommend it.) and got a degree in theatre and classics (so he knows lots of fun myths!) and then went and got his Masters Degree at the University of Toronto. Tom's major influences are Shel Silverstein, The Muppets, Looney Tunes, Wishbone, Star Wars, The Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Star Trek, and as much good TV, good film, good theatre, good games, and good books (mostly fantasy, sci fi, and mystery) as he can get his hands on! He is constantly grateful and inspired by the wonderful friends and family he is lucky enough to know. Tom thinks you're pretty swell, too.
Darcy Haywood Stoop Stage Manager
Darcy was born in Calgary, Alberta, moved to Victoria, BC for school, and now lives in Toronto, Ontario. He is slowly collecting all of the provinces and territories. Darcy is a director and stage manager and has been playing with his friends at Shakey-Shake since 2012. He sometimes does Shakespeare without puppets, but it's just not the same. Darcy and his wife and playwright Liam Volke run Suspicious Moustache Theatre where there are sometimes puppets but not very often Shakespeare. He loves theatre and puppets and children and someday hopes to have some of his own (puppets, that is)! When not at the theatre, Darcy enjoys hanging out with Montague the cat and Cat the human.

Skye Ashby Stage Manager
Skye has always had a deep affection for felt and fur. And as a teenager, she was dragged, kicking and screaming, to stage manage a Fringe show- only to discover that she LOVED it. After 18 long years, she finally has an opportunity to meld these two passions and fulfill her lifelong dream... to stage manage puppets! Needless to say, she's absolutely thrilled to be part of Shakey- Shake and Friends and is grateful for the chance to work with so many amazing and talented performers. Skye's natural habitat is the Tranzac Club, where she works regularly with the NAGs Players and Players TO.
